Sound Zero’s Ridged Acoustic Foam is specifically designed to absorb mid to high frequencies and to control trap echoes. Similar to egg foam, it is ideal for environments that require moderate sound deadening – without completely deadening the sound altogether.
The Ridge Tiles can be used for a range of applications including professional studios, rehearsal rooms, concert halls, podcasting, churches, home theatres, vocal booths, home studios, offices, man caves, dog kennels, utility closets, and more, making it the ultimate product for versatility.
When a ‘reflection point’ in a room is identified by an experienced acoustician, the ridged foam can be applied to strategically absorb the sounds that are causing acoustic discomfort. This, in turn, will provide the end-user with a much more enjoyable and productive experience – whether they’re at home, in the office or enjoying their social time.
The Ridged Acoustic Foam is available in full 2m x 1m sheets, with custom tile sizes and depths available to allow for easy on-site installation, ensuring minimal disruptions to the busy working environment – and can also be trimmed easily on site in order to fit into the most challenging of spaces.
Combined with the Pantone or RAL colour coating system, the interior designer can achieve an end result that blends seamlessly into the current décor or design brief – and even providing an on-brand solution.
